Overview

Remote role for a licensed US attorney who can contribute deep expertise to shareholder and LLC disputes. You’ll draft litigation documents, shape case theory across evolving facts, and flag gaps for senior reviewers. This project centers on real-world input to help train AI systems, without needing prior AI experience. Expect to work with public or synthetic materials and respond quickly to feedback from project leads. Boldly apply your domain knowledge to high-quality, outcome-focused submissions.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Draft motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery materials that respond to changing commercial dispute facts under senior guidance
  • 2Build and adjust case theory and strategy across multiple cycles as new information emerges
  • 3Define rubric criteria that specify what makes a strong legal response at each stage
  • 4Incorporate direction from senior professionals efficiently to refine submissions with minimal back-and-forth
  • 5Highlight ambiguities, missing information, or procedural hurdles for review by senior contributors
  • 6Work exclusively with public or synthetic materials, upholding confidentiality and professional standards
  • 7Adapt deliverables to mirror real-world litigation tasks you would face for partner review

Requirements7

  • 1Licensed attorney with current or prior bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction
  • 2At least 3 years of direct litigation experience including drafting, discovery, and motion practice after law school
  • 3Specialized experience in Shareholder or LLC disputes (fiduciary duties, oppression, buyouts, governance)
  • 4Proven ability to produce high-quality work product in shareholder/LLC matters
  • 5Strong written English, with clear drafting and argumentation skills
  • 6Ability to quickly translate feedback into improved work while maintaining high standards
  • 7Experience in federal court practice or exposure to AI training/evaluation projects is a plus

Who Should Apply

The ideal candidate is a licensed attorney with hands-on litigation experience in shareholder or LLC disputes and a track record of strong drafting. This role fits someone who can work remotely, absorb senior direction, and deliver polished pleadings and discovery materials. It may be less suitable for attorneys without direct post‑JD litigation exposure or those lacking familiarity with shareholder governance issues. Common fit challenges include limited experience with LLC ownership disputes or difficulty translating feedback into refined submissions, and not having prior federal court exposure or AI training project experience.
