Lead Business Analyst (EST shift)
Overview
You will lead a team of business analysts in Hyderabad, owning solution shaping and setting the standard for delivery. The role partners with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows. The firm is an AI consulting practice focused on insurance across P&C, Life & Annuities, Health, and Reinsurance. Support calls occur during EST hours, as this is an EST-based project.
What You'll Do7
- 1Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business analysts, setting direction and reviewing work.
- 2Own requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for key initiatives, ensuring quality and consistency of BA deliverables.
- 3Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- 4Work with product, engineering, and delivery teams to remove blockers and bring solutions to life.
- 5Define and drive BA best practices, standards, templates, and process improvements.
- 6Oversee testing, validation, and stakeholder sign-off across workstreams.
- 7Champion data-informed decision-making and clear, actionable communication.
Requirements6
- 16-9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including team lead or people-management experience.
- 2Proven ability to lead and mentor analysts and coordinate work across multiple stakeholders.
- 3Background in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) sector preferred.
- 4Strong requirement-gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- 5Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership abilities.
- 6Willingness to support calls during EST hours, as this is an EST-based project.
