• Three or more years of professional work in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or another language-focused role.
• Command of Marathi grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style that lets you name the fault and supply the fix.
• Ease moving between formal and informal registers, regional variation such as Pune or Mumbai usage, and audiences in India versus the diaspora.
• Sharp eye for meaning shifts, awkward literal translation, hallucinated claims, and culturally mismatched phrasing.
• Self-directed habits that hold up in an hourly remote contractor setup across time zones.
