Java Engineer for AI Review and Backend Systems
Overview
Remote, hourly contract focused on reviewing Java code, Spring Boot-based architectures, and associated explanations. - 6Maintain records of findings and contribute to a living knowledge base on Java patterns and backend design.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- 25+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on Java on production systems.
- 3Deep understanding of core Java, concurrency primitives, and the Java Collections Framework.
- 4Extensive backend work with Spring or Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.
- 5Strong grasp of software design principles, system design, and performance optimization in distributed Java environments.
- 6Proficiency in English at a confirmed C1 level, with the ability to write technical explanations clearly.
- 7Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and containerization technologies.
- 8Proven track record conducting code reviews and providing structured feedback to other engineers.
- 9Experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated technical content is a strong plus.
- 10Detail-oriented and methodical in evaluating reasoning quality and identifying subtle issues in Java solutions.
