Overview
We're seeking a Data Partnerships Manager to take ownership of the full partnership lifecycle—from identifying companies with valuable workflow data to closing deals and onboarding new partners. In this role, you'll connect with founders and executives, navigate complex discussions around privacy and data ownership, and help shape scalable acquisition strategies for AI training and evaluation.
What You'll Do8
- 1Proactively seek out and engage businesses across diverse industries that have operational workflows useful for AI training.
- 2Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, including founders, executives, and operational leaders.
- 3Run discovery sessions to map business processes, evaluate workflow complexity, and assess partnership fit.
- 4Clearly explain how workflow data is used to train and evaluate AI systems, addressing any questions or concerns.
- 5Lead conversations on privacy, security, anonymization, and compliance to build trust and ensure alignment.
- 6Design customized partnership structures that balance partner goals with AI customer requirements.
- 7Negotiate commercial terms and close partnership agreements, then collaborate with internal teams to onboard new partners smoothly.
- 8Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-quality opportunities while developing repeatable playbooks and messaging as the program scales.
Requirements6
- 1At least 3 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Enterprise Sales, or a similar customer-facing role with a track record of closing complex B2B deals.
- 2Strong communication skills and the ability to earn credibility with senior executives and founders.
- 3Comfortable discussing sensitive topics such as data privacy, confidentiality, and data ownership with prospective partners.
- 4Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for non-technical audiences.
- 5Proven experience with outbound prospecting, pipeline management, and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot.
- 6Resourceful, execution-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Salary Insight
The base salary for this full-time role ranges from $80,000 to $150,000, plus equity compensation and eligibility for performance-based bonuses. micro1 also offers up to 100% reimbursement on health insurance premiums, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match.
