Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, Greek or English literature, communications, journalism, translation, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2Native or near-native proficiency in Greek with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong professional English proficiency (C1 or higher) to follow guidelines and deliver detailed feedback.
- 4At least three years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or similar language-focused work.
- 5Deep knowledge of Greek grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style with the ability to explain issues and propose fixes.
- 6Experience adapting Greek for formal and informal registers across Greece, Cyprus, and global audiences.
- 7Excellent attention to nuance to catch meaning shifts, awkward translations, false claims, and cultural mismatches.
- 8Reliable, self-directed contractor who delivers consistent quality on an hourly, remote schedule across time zones.
