Overview
This part-time contractor role puts you at the center of legal AI development. You will work with contract redlining workflows that train and test advanced AI models, helping them spot risk and read contract language with greater accuracy. Your feedback shapes how these systems handle MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs, and DPAs. The position is fully remote and built for lawyers who want to apply their tech transactions background to AI research.
What You'll Do6
- Run simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises that mirror real tech transactions.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses to contract scenarios and deliver expert feedback that sharpens model output.
- Build objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria so AI performance on contract tasks is measured with consistency.
- Work with product and research teams to improve data, guidelines, and best practices for AI contract review tools.
- Review and assess contract language to help AI systems identify risk and interpret terms with legal precision.
- Contribute to the design of training tasks that reflect actual in-house negotiation and drafting work.
Requirements7
- At least 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions.
- Direct experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs, and DPAs.
- Strong written and verbal communication with close attention to detail.
- Analytical skill and the ability to turn legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback for AI systems.
- A demonstrated interest in innovation where law and technology meet.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-moving settings.
- Prior exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives is a plus.
