Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, French, Translation/Localization, Communications, or related field.
- 2Native or near-native French proficiency (C2 preferred) and minimum C1 English proficiency.
- 3Strong command of French grammar, semantics, pragmatics, and discourse-level editing across registers.
- 4Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to explain corrections in writing.
- 5Familiarity with applying French style conventions and ensuring terminology consistency for specific audiences.
- 6Reliable, self-directed remote contractor capable of delivering consistent quality across time zones.
- 7Experience with AI data training/annotation, editorial QA, translation/localization QA, or professional editing is strongly preferred.
