Overview
AfterQuery produces the evaluation and training data that frontier AI labs rely on to gauge how well their models handle real professional work. In this role you write and grade the product judgment scenarios those evaluations run on, covering prioritization, specs and strategy. You take an ambiguous problem and carry it through to a shipped decision, then explain what you cut, what you bet on and why. Roadmaps, PRDs and analytics rituals sit at the center of the work, and your grading shapes how models reason about product calls. Everything runs async with no fixed hours beyond a 10 hour weekly minimum.
What You'll Do7
- Compose realistic product scenarios that start from a murky problem and end in a shipped decision a working PM would recognize.
- Draft reference answers that spell out the prioritization logic and the tradeoffs behind each call, including what you dropped and what you bet on.
- Review model output on specs, roadmaps and strategy, scoring the quality of judgment rather than the polish of the formatting.
- Call out plans that look tidy but sidestep the hard tradeoff or lose sight of the user.
- Document your product reasoning in clear written English so reviewers can follow the reasoning chain.
- Balance scope against a 10 hour weekly minimum while keeping every submission consistent in depth and rigor.
- Bring your own specialty area, whether that is B2B SaaS, consumer or platform work, to the scenarios you author.
Requirements6
- At least two years as a product manager with ownership of a live product or feature area.
- A portfolio of shipped work you can point to, with the specs, launches and outcomes behind each one.
- Fluency with the standard PM toolkit: roadmaps, PRDs, analytics and experiments.
- Strong written English that produces specs people actually read.
- Ability to commit 10 hours or more each week.
- Comfort working as an independent contractor on ongoing project work.
Who Should Apply

Salary Insight
The posted rate is $85 per hour, inside a band of $60 to $110 per hour that AfterQuery sets from your experience. Pay goes out weekly through Stripe, and you set your hours week to week, so earnings track how much project work you take on.
