Excel Expert - Remote Data Analysis Contract

What You'll Do6

• Build financial models, forecasting tools, scenario analyses and operational dashboards that hold up under real business scrutiny.
• Write advanced formulas, pivot tables and Power Query workflows, then wire in VBA or macros where automation saves time.
• Clean, reshape and structure large datasets so analysis and reporting rest on dependable numbers.
• Turn results into dashboards and reports that stakeholders can read without a walkthrough.
• Document the logic, assumptions and methods behind each workbook so another analyst can reproduce the result.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and deliver inside the two to three week window.

Requirements7

• Expert command of Microsoft Excel, covering advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query and VBA.
• A track record of shipping complex spreadsheet models or data tools in a professional setting.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Business, Mathematics or a comparable field.
• Comfort working alone on technical and analytical tasks where precision matters.
• Financial modeling, FP&A or business intelligence experience strengthens a candidacy.
• Familiarity with Excel add-ins such as Power BI or Solver, plus Python automation through openpyxl or xlwings, stands out.
• Prior teaching or training in Excel, data analysis or financial modeling counts in your favor.
