What You'll Do5

• Build and ship tested code for projects that span several technology stacks.
• Track down defects, refactor existing code, and improve performance and maintainability.
• Review pull requests and give technical feedback that helps other engineers improve their work.
• Work with a distributed team on specifications, architecture choices, and implementation plans through written discussion.
• Write documentation for code, APIs, and technical approaches so another engineer can reproduce the work.

• 1 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience in a full-time role or comparable work.
• Fluency in one modern programming language and the libraries, tools, and conventions that surround it.
• A track record of scoping a feature or fix, building it, and delivering it with little oversight.
• Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience touching more than one layer of a product: frontend, backend, APIs, or infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and shared development practices.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Open source contributions or personal software projects you built on your own.
