What You'll Do5

• Spot gaps in finance Excel knowledge across research teams and propose fixes that improve model output on spreadsheet tasks.
• Design realistic Excel assignments from your own work, covering financial models, valuations, forecasts, and data analysis.
• Write accurate solution files that show the right formulas, workbook structure, and logic.
• Review Excel tasks and answers from other contributors, then give written feedback on what works and what needs revision.
• Partner with subject matter experts to keep training data consistent and correct.

Requirements8

• Advanced, professional Excel skill with XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, PivotTables, dashboards, Power Query, Power Pivot, and macros or VBA.
• Hands-on finance experience in private equity, investment banking, hedge funds, or equity research; accounting or FP&A backgrounds also qualify.
• Direct work with three-statement models, LBO and DCF valuation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• A clear record of career growth in finance or a related field.
• Prior AI training, data annotation, or model evaluation experience, ideally through Rubrics on Mercor or a comparable platform.
• Availability for 40 hours per week on weekdays through the end of September, then 20 hours per week after that.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving ability, and comfort working with other experts.
• US-based residency.
