• Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance on Excel tasks across different domains.
• Design realistic Excel exercises based on your own professional work, then write correct solutions with clear steps.
• Assess Excel tasks and submitted solutions, then give written feedback that explains errors and fixes.
• Work with other subject matter experts to keep training data consistent and accurate.
• Create examples that reflect several business functions and industries, not one narrow specialty.

Requirements9

• Professional-level Excel skill with advanced formulas such as XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and dynamic arrays.
• Hands-on use of PivotTables, data modeling, dashboards, Power Query, Power Pivot, and macros/VBA.
• Experience applying Excel across several industries and business functions, not one narrow specialty.
• Teaching or training background, and a PhD, both help.
• Prior work in AI training, human data annotation, or model evaluation, such as Rubrics training on Mercor or a similar platform.
• A career history that shows steady progression.
• Availability for 40 hours per week on weekdays through the end of September, then 20 hours per week after that.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and people skills.
• Current residence in the United States.
