What You'll Do5
- 1Create complex circuit and systems design scenarios that reflect real F500 project lifecycles, including design reviews, manufacturing, and regulatory approval hurdles.
- 2Develop evaluation tasks spanning power systems, grid infrastructure, semiconductor and PCB design, embedded systems, firmware, signal processing, and control systems.
- 3Design problems using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer, Cadence, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, and enterprise PLM/EDA stacks.
- 4Apply rigorous engineering methods such as circuit analysis, EMC/EMI compliance, control theory, and reliability/failure mode analysis, and write reference solutions and executive-level technical narratives aligned with the chosen standards track (US or international).
- 5Construct scoring rubrics that separate true enterprise engineering judgment from simple textbook knowledge.

- 1A minimum of five years working as an electrical engineer or lead at a Fortune 500 or comparable large industrial, tech, or energy firm.
- 2Demonstrated ownership of large circuit designs, power systems, or engineering certification initiatives.
- 3Hands-on proficiency with the usual enterprise toolchain and a solid grasp of how safety standards, regulatory certifications (NEC, IEEE, UL, FCC, IEC), and cross-functional design governance operate in practice.
- 4A professional engineering license (like a US PE or international equivalent, e.g., CEng or EUR ING) is a plus, as is prior experience writing rubrics, training curricula, or design documentation.
