Overview
This role partners with a leading AI lab to shape how artificial intelligence understands corporate accounting. You'll draw on your own controllership experience to design realistic financial scenarios and evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and GAAP compliance. It's a flexible, remote engagement for accountants who can translate their daily work into clear, structured training data.
What You'll Do4
- 1Create realistic accounting scenarios based on your controllership work, including financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, close procedures, fixed-asset schedules, and accrual entries.
- 2Review AI-generated accounting outputs for correctness, GAAP compliance, and sound professional judgment, then provide detailed written feedback.
- 3Write clear, concise feedback to help improve how AI handles period-end close and reporting tasks.
- 4Collaborate asynchronously with the research team to refine training data and processes.
Requirements4
- 1CPA certification or 3–5+ years of corporate or public accounting experience with hands-on ownership of the general ledger and period-end close.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3Proficiency with common accounting tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, and Excel.
- 4Strong written communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
