What You'll Do6
- 1Review AI-generated accounting responses for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to GAAP/IFRS, flagging issues in journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet classifications.
- 2Create AI training content by drafting prompts and gold-standard outputs such as journal entries, explanations, close checklists, reconciliations logic, and scenario analyses.
- 3Provide precise, written feedback that clarifies reasoning steps and demonstrates correct application of accounting principles in multiple business scenarios.
- 4Rate and compare multiple AI responses, documenting rationale for correctness and completeness to guide model improvements.
- 5Validate internal control considerations and audit-readiness within training data, ensuring proper approvals and documentation are represented.
- 6Collaborate with global AI data teams on an hourly contractor basis to deliver high-quality content and review work across time zones.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional designations such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are strong pluses.
- 2At least 5 years of professional accounting experience in public practice, industry, shared services, or advisory roles.
- 3Solid command of core accounting areas including revenue and expense recognition, accruals, prepaid/deferred items, fixed assets, inventory basics, payroll basics, and taxes.
- 4Proven ability to prepare and review journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and deliver month-end close artifacts with auditability.
- 5Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and common presentation issues; familiarity with internal controls and audit readiness.
- 6Excellent written English at a high proficiency level and the ability to follow detailed guidelines with structured explanations.
- 7Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality as an hourly remote contractor across time zones.
- 8Experience with AI data training, accounting QA, audit review, or technical accounting writing is highly preferred.
