Overview
micro1 is hiring Cantonese Language Evaluators to support a language-focused project for a key customer. You will use your native Cantonese skills to assess text and speech data, helping train next-generation AI systems. No prior AI experience is needed. You will work remotely as a contractor, using micro1's proprietary system to evaluate and improve language technologies.
What You'll Do7
- 1Review Cantonese text and speech samples for linguistic accuracy, fluency, and contextual fit using internal tools.
- 2Give detailed feedback on model outputs, pointing out errors, ambiguities, and areas for improvement.
- 3Take part in data annotation, labeling, and categorization tasks for natural language processing development.
- 4Work with project leads to refine tasks, clarify evaluation criteria, and escalate complex language cases.
- 5Follow project guidelines to maintain consistency and quality across all deliverables.
- 6Document insights and recommendations to support ongoing improvement of evaluation processes and system outputs.
- 7Conduct ad hoc linguistic quality reviews as project needs and priorities change.
Requirements7
- 1Native proficiency in Cantonese, with strong command of both written and spoken forms.
- 2Demonstrated experience in language evaluation, translation, linguistic annotation, or related language technology projects.
- 3Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
- 4Familiarity with content moderation, transcription, or quality assessment tasks is a plus.
- 5Analytical mindset and ability to apply consistent evaluation criteria to diverse language samples.
- 6Comfort using online platforms and digital evaluation tools for data review and submission.
- 7Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet project deliverables.
