What You'll Do6

• Build and extend LLM-driven conversational agents that serve live patients over SMS and voice.
• Design prompt strategies and the decision logic that drives each phase of a conversation.
• Connect AI features to backend services, job queues, and APIs.
• Work through tricky edge cases that surface across conversation flows.
• Improve speed, reliability, and cost of the AI systems once they reach production.
• Read telemetry and test feedback, then adjust outputs based on what the data shows.

Requirements8

• Experience at the mid to senior level, with senior candidates given preference.
• Hands-on work building AI chatbots or LLM-based systems.
• Solid backend engineering background.
• Strong command of Node.js, Express, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Front end experience with React, TypeScript, and a state library such as Redux or Zustand.
• Working knowledge of AWS and Terraform.
• Comfort owning a problem end to end without close supervision.
• Strong written and verbal English.
