Overview
micro1 is building an AI project that needs real military insight into weapons employment and tactical decision-making. Current or former Weapons Systems Operators will review AI-generated scenarios covering air defense, missile systems, naval weapons, and tactical aviation. Your job is to spot technical errors, unrealistic assumptions, and breaches of ROE or LOAC, then explain them in clear writing. This is a remote contractor role that pays $40 to $80 per hour.
What You'll Do6
- Review AI-generated combat scenarios for air defense, missile operations, naval weapons, or tactical aviation.
- Judge whether weapons employment decisions and mission procedures match real-world practice.
- Check each scenario for sound reasoning and compliance with Rules of Engagement and the Law of Armed Conflict.
- Flag unrealistic assumptions, technical mistakes, or operational errors.
- Write clear feedback that explains each problem and points to a more accurate approach.
- Compare scenario details against your own operational experience to test realism.
Requirements6
- Current or former military weapons systems operator with hands-on experience in air defense, missile operations, naval combat systems, or tactical aviation.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, NASAMS, or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Solid grasp of weapons employment, tactical decision-making, and military operational procedures.
- Ability to explain complex technical and military concepts in writing.
- Operational deployments, live-fire experience, or service as a weapons instructor are a plus.
- Knowledge of ROE and LOAC as they apply to weapons employment.
Who Should Apply
The ideal candidate has operated military weapons systems in air defense, missile, naval, or aviation roles and can write clear, specific feedback on tactical scenarios. Experience with Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, or NASAMS helps, as does instructor or deployment background.

Application tip
In your application, name the exact systems you operated (Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, NASAMS, or similar) and describe one scenario where you applied ROE or LOAC to a weapons employment decision. Quantify your experience with years, deployments, or live-fire events.
