Overview
Mercor is teaming up with a leading AI research lab to build cutting-edge text-to-speech systems that generate natural, expressive, and human-sounding voices. We're looking for native Swiss German speakers based in Switzerland to record high-quality audio that will train and evaluate these models. Your recordings will only be used for the client's internal CX AI Agent and will never be sold, licensed, or reused elsewhere.
What You'll Do5
- 1Record clean, high-quality audio across a range of script types, including conversational, narrative, and instructional content.
- 2Deliver speech that is clear, natural, and expressive, with strong control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation.
- 3Maintain a consistent voice, accent, and delivery style across all recording sessions.
- 4Follow detailed recording guidelines covering environment setup, microphone placement, and file formatting.
- 5Produce multiple takes with variations in emotion, emphasis, and style when the project requires it.
Requirements7
- 1Native Swiss German speaker currently living in Switzerland.
- 2Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
- 3Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter.
- 4Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range.
- 5Ability to follow scripts precisely while keeping the delivery natural and conversational.
- 6Dependable availability for 5-10 hours per week across the project duration.
- 7Comfortable with having your voice cloned for the client's CX AI Agent; recordings will not be sold or reused for any other purpose.
