  • Perform remote accident quality audits and causation analysis, documenting your reasoning and supporting evidence.
  • Grade vehicle condition using criteria common in fleet, auction, or OEM inspection protocols.
  • Deliver clear written explanations and verbal feedback that convey findings with authority.
  • Work with the project team to maintain consistent quality across all deliverables.
  • Adjust review methods to align with current industry practices and project guidelines.

Requirements7

  • Expertise in auto damage estimating, vehicle inspection, and accident quality auditing.
  • Background as an auto damage appraiser, ACTAR-certified reconstructionist, OEM auditor, or fleet/auction inspector is strongly preferred.
  • State adjuster license, I-CAR, or ACTAR certification is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on thorough documentation and reasoned justifications.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities for objective evidence review and reporting.
  • Comfort working remotely and independently as an expert contributor.

Who Should Apply

The ideal candidate has at least five years of hands-on experience in vehicle damage appraisal, collision repair assessment, or fleet/auction inspection. Certifications such as ACTAR, I-CAR, or a state adjuster license are a plus. You should be comfortable reviewing evidence objectively and writing clear, well-reasoned assessments.
