What You'll Do6
- 1Write clear, structured prompts and reference answers for DoD staff writing tasks such as WARs, SITREPs, executive summaries, and performance reports.

- 3Generate realistic sample documents that match the style, structure, and vocabulary of actual DoD reporting across operational and administrative contexts.
- 4Design and evaluate test scenarios that measure how well AI summarizes and reports on federal tasks.
- 5Participate in iterative feedback sessions to improve prompts, answers, and scoring guidelines as the project evolves.
- 6Use your knowledge of federal back-office workflows to create weekly, monthly, and ad hoc report templates that mirror real-world formats.
Requirements7
- 1At least 3 years of experience contributing to federal or military reporting, ideally with direct DoD exposure.
- 2Proven ability to produce standard reports like Weekly Activity Reports, Situation Reports, executive summaries, and other common DoD formats.
- 3Military background with service in any of the six U.S. armed forces branches; diverse assignments across units or roles is a plus.
- 4Exceptional written and verbal communication, with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to tailor language to different audiences.
- 5Working knowledge of back-office tools such as PowerPoint, Word memos, and Excel summaries for creating polished briefings and reports.
- 6Strong analytical judgment to assess and give constructive feedback on AI-generated content.
- 7Located in the US and familiar with federal compliance rules, reporting standards, and DoD terminology and workflows.
