• Draft single-turn prompts that test model judgment on hazardous device topics, tagging each prompt as benign, dual-use, or adversarial.
• Review model outputs against a defined policy and decide if each response handled the request in a safe or unsafe way.
• Write reference answers that explain the correct response and the technical reasoning behind it.
• Use field experience to separate routine professional questions, such as storage or render-safe queries, from prompts that seek misuse details.
• Document each decision so readers without a bomb tech or EOD background can follow the logic.
• Flag cases where a model refuses a safe question or answers a dangerous one, and describe why the line was crossed.

Requirements8

• Certified bomb technician or hazardous device operator with hands-on device assessment and render-safe procedure experience.
• Military EOD background that includes civilian public safety, training, or instruction work.
• Bomb squad commander or training officer who has managed team qualification, equipment, and protocols.
• Post-blast investigation and device reconstruction experience.
• CBRNE technical response skills, including standoff assessment, robotics, and disruption tools.
• Strong technical writing, published research, or expert witness work, with a sample or link ready to share.
• Red-teaming experience is a plus, as is the ability to write clear rationales for non-specialists.
• You must not draw on classified or export-controlled information, or material under an NDA or prepublication review. If you hold those obligations, say so in your application so the team can scope the work.
