Overview
Join a leading AI lab's generative AI team as a Project Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in supporting the development of advanced AI models. You'll act as the operational link between program leaders and domain experts, ensuring data projects run efficiently and effectively. What You'll Do8
- 1Serve as the go-to person for day-to-day management of AI data initiatives, keeping processes on track and teams aligned.
- 2Translate high-level direction from program leads into actionable guidelines for domain experts, and distribute them clearly.
- 3Onboard new experts as the program scales and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth integration.
- 4Participate in weekly business reviews—tracking action items, taking notes, and leading status calls when necessary.
- 5Identify quality issues early, investigate root causes, and communicate findings across teams to drive improvements.
- 6Collaborate with research and product partners to draft and refine project guidelines.
- 7Proactively spot potential blockers and escalate them for quick resolution.
- 8Monitor project milestones and deliverables using Google Sheets and Excel, adapting as priorities shift.
Requirements7
- 1Based in the United States (remote role).
- 2A STEM background is strongly preferred.
- 3At least 3 years of project coordination or project management experience, with a track record of coordinating large, cross-functional teams.
- 4Hands-on experience with AI training-data or human-data projects—whether as a project coordinator, team lead, EPM, or expert contributor.
- 5Previous coordination experience on AI/data programs at companies like Meta, TikTok, or Amazon, or EPM/project-lead experience on Mercor projects or similar AI training projects is ideal.
- 6Strong data management skills using Excel and SQL, plus a working knowledge of coding.
- 7Prior people management or demonstrated ability to effectively lead large groups.
