Listing checked October 13, 2026 · pay as published by Micro1
Overview
micro1 seeks Privacy Analysts for a customer project centered on business data. You will review large datasets, apply PII protocols, and help train next-generation AI systems. The role demands close attention to data privacy and quality assurance across document review tasks. This is a remote contractor position open to candidates in the United States.
What You'll Do6
- 1Examine extensive business datasets to confirm accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
- 2Perform document reviews while following strict data privacy and PII rules.
- 3Detect and flag data quality problems, inconsistencies, and anomalies.
- 4Provide detailed feedback and recommendations on data findings to support AI training.
- 5Spot-check transformed data to ensure PII is redacted or anonymized, and report any missed items.
- 6Uphold all data privacy and security guidelines throughout project deliverables.
Requirements7
- 1Experience working with large datasets that contain PII and sensitive material.
- 2Solid knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA, plus best practices.
- 3Background in document review, data quality assurance, or audit projects.
- 4Hands-on experience with redaction, anonymization, or de-identification.
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- 6Prior remote work experience.
- 7Background as a Privacy Analyst, Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, or Compliance Analyst is a plus.
Who Should Apply
The ideal candidate has direct experience handling PII in large datasets and knows privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA. You should be comfortable with document review, redaction, and quality assurance tasks, and have worked remotely before. This role is less suitable for someone new to data privacy or without hands-on redaction experience. Candidates often get rejected when they cannot show specific examples of handling sensitive data or when they overlook details in document review. A lack of familiarity with privacy frameworks also lowers fit scores.
