Overview

micro1 is building a remote team of Primary Care and general medicine experts to review real-world healthcare content. You will assess patient scenarios, weigh symptoms and histories, and apply clinical reasoning to judge whether proposed diagnoses and treatment plans hold up. The work centers on patient assessment, differential diagnosis, and evidence-based management, with structured annotation and quality-review tasks. This is a contractor role open to physicians across the United States.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Evaluate primary care and general medicine case scenarios drawn from real clinical practice.
  • 2Review patient symptoms, medical histories, and clinical findings to judge how well each case is presented.
  • 3Work through differential diagnoses and decide whether the next steps shown are clinically sound.
  • 4Assess proposed treatment and patient management plans against established clinical practice.
  • 5Check medical content for accuracy, completeness, and internal consistency.
  • 6Flag incorrect, vague, or potentially misleading clinical information.
  • 7Write clear explanations that tie each evaluation to evidence-based reasoning.
  • 8Carry out structured annotation, evaluation, and quality-review tasks using your healthcare background.

Requirements7

  • 1Professional experience or demonstrated expertise in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Medicine, or a related clinical field.
  • 2Medical education, qualifications, or professional certifications are preferred.
  • 3Solid command of patient assessment, diagnosis, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning.
  • 4Working familiarity with current clinical guidelines and evidence-based medical practices.
  • 5Prior human data experience such as data labeling, annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation is a plus.
  • 6Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail.
  • 7Clear written and verbal communication.

Who Should Apply

This role suits a practicing or recently active physician with hands-on primary care or general medicine experience who can read a case, spot what is wrong, and explain the reasoning in writing. Candidates who have done annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation work will move through review faster because the task format will feel familiar. The role is less suitable for someone without direct clinical experience or for anyone who wants patient-facing work rather than content review. A common reason applicants get rejected is vague written feedback that states a conclusion without citing the clinical guideline or evidence behind it. Another is a CV that lists a specialty but shows no concrete patient assessment or diagnosis work.
