Overview

micro1 seeks Family Medicine Physicians to support a project that trains next-generation AI systems. You will apply primary care expertise to annotate and review clinical content, including office visit notes, assessments, referrals, and lab results. The role is fully remote within the United States, and no prior AI experience is needed. Your clinical judgment and knowledge of evidence-based medicine will directly shape how models learn and reason.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Annotate and review clinical content such as office visit notes, assessments and plans, referrals, lab and imaging results, and care coordination documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • 2Evaluate AI-generated outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, and appropriateness across patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • 3Apply clinical judgment and evidence-based guidelines to validate and enrich datasets.
  • 4Collaborate with project stakeholders through written and verbal communication to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in clinical documentation.
  • 5Provide feedback on guidelines and edge cases to improve project workflows and model understanding.
  • 6Ensure clinical soundness and completeness of medical records across acute, chronic, and preventive care scenarios.

Requirements8

  • 1Active MD degree, with board certification in Family Medicine preferred.
  • 2Based in the United States and licensed to practice medicine in the U.S.
  • 3Hands-on clinical experience in primary care or family medicine settings such as clinics, community practices, or health systems.
  • 4Broad clinical exposure across common acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, and multiple patient age groups.
  • 5Previous annotation or clinical review experience is a plus.
  • 6Proficiency in written and verbal communication with strong attention to clarity and detail.
  • 7Ability to apply evidence-based guidelines and standards of care to validate clinical data.
  • 8Comfort working with clinical documentation and resolving ambiguities in medical records.

Who Should Apply

This role fits a U.S.-licensed Family Medicine MD with active primary care experience and a sharp eye for clinical detail. You should be comfortable reviewing a wide range of records, from pediatric visits to geriatric care, and applying evidence-based guidelines to assess AI outputs. Candidates without an active U.S. medical license or without hands-on primary care experience will not score well. A common reason for rejection is submitting a resume that does not clearly show direct patient care across multiple age groups. Another is failing to demonstrate written communication skills, since the work involves detailed annotation and feedback.
