Your day job is writing outpatient notes in an EHR as a practicing primary care or internal medicine physician. This part-time remote contract channels that expertise into evaluating AI-generated clinical documentation for a healthcare AI partner. You review encounter summaries, flag omissions and inaccuracies, and annotate what a real PCP would document. The output shapes tools that support decision-making and note-taking. What You'll Do7
- 1Read outpatient clinical notes and encounter summaries from EHR systems, checking for accuracy and clinical soundness.
- 2Assess AI-generated patient notes against what a practicing PCP would actually record, identifying anything missing or distorted.
- 3Apply detailed annotation guidelines to outpatient encounter data, tagging errors and gaps.
- 4Pinpoint omissions, hallucinations, and factual inaccuracies in AI output and document them clearly.
- 5Write structured feedback that engineering and product teams can act on directly.
- 6Contribute expertise to annotation guidelines, flagging ambiguous edge cases and suggesting how to define them.
- 7Ask clarifying questions when guidance is unclear and propose updates to keep the guidelines practical.
Requirements7
- 1Hold an MD with at least two years of post-residency practice in primary care, family medicine, or general internal medicine.
- 2Currently see patients and write outpatient clinical notes as part of a regular schedule.
- 3Be based in the United States.
- 4Commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week for the next three months.
- 5Familiarity with Epic is preferred but not required.
- 6Prior experience with clinical documentation quality review, note auditing, or CDI is a plus.
- 7Any previous work on AI/ML annotation or model evaluation with strong performance reviews adds weight.
