What You'll Do8
- 1Review AI-generated PR content and scoring rubrics to assess messaging clarity, credibility, and alignment with prompts.
- 2Draft gold-standard communications artifacts such as press releases, statements, media pitches, and FAQs to guide AI training.
- 3Provide targeted, written rationale and edits that explain reasoning quality and where improvements are needed.
- 4Rank and compare multiple AI responses for tone, stakeholder fit, and risk to determine the best outputs.
- 5Identify potential reputational risks, inaccuracies, or compliance concerns and flag them to the project team.
- 6Collaborate with data scientists and editors to refine prompts and documentation for training data.
- 7Document feedback and deliverables in the project management system and maintain clear version history for auditability.
- 8Monitor crisis communications patterns in outputs and suggest holding statements as needed.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 25+ years in PR/communications (agency or in-house) with writing and media-facing deliverables.
- 3Strong command of message development including narratives, proof points, Q&A frameworks, and tone control.
- 4Experience producing core assets: press releases, media pitches, bylines, statements, talking points, internal comms, and executive notes.
- 5Ability to evaluate outputs for accuracy, defensibility, and risk with sensitivity to legal/compliance and forward-looking statements.
- 6Familiarity with crisis communications principles: rapid response, stakeholder mapping, escalation paths, holding statements, and post-incident learnings.
- 7Strong editing and QA skills; ability to provide actionable feedback and gold-standard rewrites with rationale; minimum C1 English proficiency.
- 8Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly, remote contractor workflow across time zones.
- 9Prior experience with AI data training, editorial QA, newsroom/press office workflows, or comms review is strongly preferred.
