Overview

We're looking for a seasoned payer and market access professional to join a short paid pilot with a biotech/pharma research team. You'll help build and refine evaluation frameworks that test how well commercial drug assumptions hold up against real payer behavior. Strong performance could lead to ongoing work as the project expands.

What You'll Do4

  • 1Design and assess scoring rubrics that evaluate marketed drugs and development-stage programs.
  • 2Establish and challenge gross-to-net and formulary tier assumptions for different drug classes.
  • 3Review whether coverage, rebate, and tiering assumptions align with actual payer decision-making.
  • 4Apply your expertise consistently across the assigned portfolio of drugs and classes.

Requirements4

  • 1Currently based in the US and working as a payer or market access professional.
  • 2Comfortable navigating biotech and pharma development pipelines.
  • 3Deep practical knowledge of gross-to-net calculations, rebate structures, and formulary placement by class.
  • 4At least five years in market access, pricing/reimbursement, or managed markets.

Who Should Apply

An ideal candidate is a US-based market access or managed markets expert who understands the real-world mechanics of payer decisions — from rebate math to formulary placement. You're comfortable critiquing assumptions and can work independently on a short, focused project. If you've spent 5+ years in payer strategy, pricing, or reimbursement and want to help improve how AI evaluates drug programs, this is a great fit.

Salary Insight

Paid at $170–$300 per hour for the pilot engagement.
