Overview
Mercor is teaming up with a biotech and pharma research group to support expert human evaluation, where you'll build and refine rubrics for assessing commercial medications and drug pipelines. This is a paid, part-time pilot gig that could turn into ongoing work as the project grows. If you have deep experience analyzing biotech assets from a specialist-fund perspective, this is a chance to put that expertise to work remotely.
What You'll Do4
- 1Design and critique scoring rubrics used to evaluate marketed drugs and development-stage programs
- 2Deliver full assessments of companies and their drug assets, covering mechanism of action, clinical evidence, competitive landscape, and key value drivers
- 3Review investment-style theses for quality, identifying unsupported, overly bullish, or missing assumptions
- 4Apply your evaluation approach consistently across a pilot set of roughly 5–10 companies
Requirements4
- 1US-based biotech or healthcare investment analyst with a specialist-fund background
- 2At least 5 years of experience evaluating biotech and pharma companies or their assets
- 3Familiarity with biotech and pharma development programs, from early-stage research through commercialization
- 4Ability to assess both the drug asset and the underlying company end-to-end in a structured way
