Norwegian Language Expert | $10-$45/hr Remote

Overview

This role involves applying native-level Norwegian expertise to train next-generation AI systems. The contractor will record high-quality audio samples, transcribe and annotate speech data, and evaluate data quality to improve AI model performance. No prior AI experience is required, but strong linguistic skills and attention to detail are essential.

What You'll Do7

• 1Record high-quality audio samples in Norwegian with clear pronunciation and minimal background noise.
• 2Transcribe and annotate audio data meticulously following established guidelines.
• 3Evaluate the quality of speech data and provide constructive feedback to ensure accuracy.
• 4Collaborate closely with the customer's team to support AI workflow processes.
• 5Utilize phonetic knowledge to ensure correct pronunciation and intonation in recordings.
• 6Maintain organized records of audio files, annotations, and evaluation results.
• 7Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal formats to improve processes.

Requirements6

• 1Native or near-native proficiency in Norwegian with strong command of pronunciation and linguistic nuances.
• 2Experience in audio recording (e.g., voice acting, podcasting, music production) is highly valued.
• 3Keen attention to detail for accurate transcription and annotation tasks.
