As an hourly remote contractor, you will design practical MongoDB tasks for AI model training. You will craft tasks that exercise databases, collections, documents, CRUD operations, and indexing within a NoSQL workflow, then document outcomes in detail. Tasks are designed to be executed on a local machine using MongoDB Compass and sample data, with setup and credentials prepared in advance. What You'll Do8
- 1Design realistic MongoDB tasks that can be executed on a computer using MongoDB concepts, then document the task details clearly in SuperAnnotate.
- 2Prepare the work environment by ensuring MongoDB or MongoDB Compass is available, test databases are ready, sample data is loaded, and credentials are handled safely.
- 3Record yourself performing the task on your computer, following project instructions, and keep the workflow clear, realistic, and safe.
- 4Document task context with goals, database and collection details, sample documents, query targets, and reviewer notes.
- 5Demonstrate practical software use by performing database creation, CRUD operations, filtering, indexing, and basic aggregation, plus data import/export.
- 6Navigate Compass, connect to local or cloud databases, and troubleshoot common issues as part of the task workflow.
- 7Maintain submission quality by reviewing recordings and documentation to ensure completeness and alignment with project guidelines.
- 8Collaborate across time zones and deliver consistent, reliable outputs in an hourly remote contractor setup.
Requirements9
- 1Hands-on experience using MongoDB for databases, collections, document queries, updates, indexes, data import/export, and using MongoDB Compass.
- 2English proficiency at least at B2 level to understand project instructions, document tasks, and communicate with the project team.
- 3Comfort using a computer, database tools, browser/local environments, terminals where needed, sample data, and recording workflows.
- 4Ability to craft realistic MongoDB tasks reflecting backend, data, admin, analytics, testing, or database-management use cases.
- 5Strong understanding of MongoDB basics including databases, collections, documents, BSON/JSON, CRUD, filters, aggregation basics, indexes, connection strings, and permissions.
- 6Ability to ensure your setup supports the task, including having MongoDB or MongoDB Compass available, test databases prepared, sample data loaded, credentials handled safely, and references ready.
- 7High attention to detail when preparing the task, executing the workflow, and ensuring the recording is complete, safe, and understandable.
- 8Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly remote contractor workflow across time zones.
- 9Additional professional skills are appreciated, including backend development, data engineering, JavaScript, Python, database administration, QA, DevOps, analytics, or other computer-based workflows.
