• PhD or MS in Linguistics or Computational Linguistics.
• Research record with publications and demonstrated expertise in a language or linguistic phenomenon that AI models struggle with.
• Depth in at least one sub-domain: morphology, syntax, or phonology, including formal grammars.
• Depth in corpus methods and low-resource languages.
• Depth in phonetics using Praat and IPA, plus computational or NLP tooling.
• Indian work authorization.
• Strong written communication and careful attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex linguistic ideas in plain terms.
• Ability to work on your own in a remote, asynchronous setting.
