Overview
micro1 seeks legal professionals to contribute to a customer project that advances legal workflows and AI development. You will design realistic legal prompts, evaluate AI outputs, and use Microsoft 365 tools including Copilot to produce deliverables. This is a remote contractor role open to attorneys, paralegals, compliance professionals, and other legal practitioners. Your input will help shape how AI models learn and reason about legal tasks.
What You'll Do7
- Create multi-step legal prompts that mirror real workflows such as contract review, legal research, case analysis, discovery support, and compliance assessments.
- Write and refine legal content for AI training and model evaluation, ensuring accuracy and sound legal reasoning.
- Build and score legal evaluations that test AI's ability to analyze statutes, case law, contracts, and fact patterns.
- Use Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot, to produce memos, briefs, redlines, summaries, and trackers.
- Analyze legal materials and AI outputs, then turn findings into clear recommendations for improving both legal work product and AI performance.
- Review AI-generated legal content for professional standards and consistency.
- Collaborate with the project team to maintain high-quality legal data.
Requirements7
- Professional experience in a legal role such as attorney, paralegal, legal counsel, contracts manager, compliance specialist, or legal operations.
- Background in practice areas like corporate, litigation, intellectual property, employment, regulatory, or real estate.
- Active bar admission, paralegal certification, or equivalent legal credentials (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, with hands-on experience in Word (track changes, comparison tools), Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Copilot.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication, including the ability to explain legal concepts to legal and non-legal audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and the ability to give clear, consistent feedback.
- Experience with AI training, data annotation, or evaluating AI-generated content.
Who Should Apply
Legal professionals with hands-on Microsoft 365 experience and a track record in areas like contracts, litigation, or compliance. Candidates who have worked with AI training or data annotation will stand out. Attorneys, paralegals, and compliance specialists looking to apply their expertise to AI development should apply.
