Investor Relations Expert | $2000 One-Time Remote
Overview
This remote contract position focuses on producing polished investor relations materials for public companies. You'll take mock financial packages—such as results packs, shareholder registers, and analyst models—and turn them into ready-to-review deliverables like earnings releases, guidance memos, and investor presentations. Work is graded against a rubric, so clarity and precision matter. Compensation is set at $85–$100 per hour.
What You'll Do4
- 1Write earnings releases, prepared remarks, and Q&A briefing documents for quarterly earnings calls.
- 2Develop guidance-setting and guidance-revision recommendations, backing each with scenario analysis.
- 3Create investor day content, equity story and positioning decks, annual general meeting materials, and M&A announcement packages.
- 4Review shareholder registers and ownership structures to gauge activist vulnerability and propose dividend or capital return strategies.
Requirements4
- 1At least 4 years of in-house investor relations experience at a publicly traded company.
- 2Proven ownership of an entire quarterly earnings cycle, including the release, scripts, Q&A prep, and analyst interactions.
- 3Familiarity with public-company IR is essential; experience in private-equity or venture fundraising does not qualify for this role.
- 4Nice-to-haves include an IRC charter from NIRI, prior sell-side equity research experience, or work at an investor relations agency.
Who Should Apply
You're a seasoned investor relations professional who thrives on precise, high-stakes financial communication. You have deep knowledge of how public companies tell their quarterly and annual stories, and you can work independently from raw data and mock files to produce board-ready deliverables. If you've run earnings cycles end-to-end and enjoy translating complex financials into clear narratives, this role is a strong match.
