Overview
micro1 seeks Human Intelligence Collectors to support a specialized customer project. Your background in elicitation and investigative questioning will help train next-generation AI systems. You will conduct or assess structured interviews, read nonverbal cues, and document your analytical reasoning. This is a remote contractor role, at least 15 hours per week, with US-based candidates preferred. No prior AI experience is needed; your domain expertise is what matters.
What You'll Do7
- 1Run or evaluate structured elicitation and interview sessions to gather accurate information from various subjects.
- 2Build rapport with participants to foster open dialogue without pressure or coercion.
- 3Monitor tone, pacing, and body language in real time, then adjust your questioning approach as needed.
- 4Judge the consistency, reliability, and possible evasiveness of responses, and provide a confidence rating for each interaction.
- 5Spot and note emotional and motivational factors that shape how participants respond.
- 6Write clear, traceable explanations of your analytical reasoning to support later review and learning.
- 7Apply a detailed rubric to score or annotate sessions, keeping your judgments objective and consistent across cases.
Requirements7
- 13–5+ years of experience in professional interviewing, intelligence elicitation, or investigative questioning (for example, military HUMINT, law-enforcement interviewing, or skilled negotiation).
- 2Training in recognized interviewing methods such as the PEACE model, cognitive interviewing, or similar frameworks.
- 3Skill in interpreting paralinguistic and nonverbal cues in real time, including tone, pacing, hesitation, and gestures.
- 4Proven ability to justify analytical conclusions in writing, not just through intuition.
- 5Outstanding written English with a focus on clarity, precision, and defensibility.
- 6Experience working with diverse populations or through interpreters.
- 7Familiarity with data annotation, AI model evaluation, or after-action/assessment report writing.
