Overview
As a Fullstack Engineer on a TypeScript stack, you will design and ship features end to end for AI-assisted business products that ingest email, messaging, and documents, run AI agents over the data, and present results in a web interface. The role spans API design, data modelling, React/Next.js frontend work, third-party integrations, and AI agent workflows. You will work across multiple repositories, breaking down tickets and delivering small, reviewable pull requests. Systems-level thinking is key: tracing problems from UI through API, database, and background jobs to external services. You will also use AI coding assistants as part of your workflow while owning the correctness of everything you ship.
What You'll Do10
- 1Design, build, and maintain versioned REST APIs in TypeScript with request validation, consistent response and error contracts, and OpenAPI documentation.
- 2Build frontend features in React/Next.js with a clean separation between the HTTP layer, server state, and UI state.
- 3Model data and write migrations for document databases, paying attention to indexes, query patterns, and backward compatibility.
- 4Integrate third-party services such as OAuth sign-in, email and messaging APIs, and document processing including parsing and OCR.
- 5Build and extend AI-driven features: LLM-backed agents and workflows, prompt and tool design, and tracing and evaluation of agent runs.
- 6Work from tickets: break down requirements, clarify ambiguity, estimate, and deliver changes as small, reviewable pull requests across multiple repositories.
- 7Analyse problems at the systems level: reproduce, read logs and traces, isolate the failing layer, and fix root causes rather than symptoms.
- 8Write unit and end-to-end tests, take part in code and design reviews, and keep linting, commit conventions, and CI checks healthy.
- 9Use AI coding assistants to plan, implement, test, and review code, and help improve the team's AI-assisted workflow.
- 10Support packaging and delivery of the products, including on-premise and desktop distributions and their update pipeline.

- 1Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 22+ years of professional experience building web applications across backend and frontend.
- 3Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript, including asynchronous programming, the type system, and module structure.
- 4Solid experience designing and building REST APIs with a Node.js framework (NestJS, Express, or similar): routing, validation, error handling, versioning, and pagination.
- 5Hands-on experience with a modern frontend framework (React preferred), including state management and data fetching.
- 6Working knowledge of at least one database (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar): schema design, indexing, and migrations.
- 7Good understanding of HTTP, authentication (OAuth 2.0, tokens, sessions), CORS, and web security basics.
- 8Comfort with Git, code review, and working from tickets in a tracker (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues, or similar).
- 9Systems-level debugging skills: reading logs, using a debugger, and reasoning about processes, network calls, concurrency, and failure modes across services.
- 10Clear written communication in tickets, pull request descriptions, and design notes.
- 11Preferred: experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) on real production work, and the judgement to know when to trust, verify, or rewrite their output.
- 12Preferred: experience building LLM-powered features: LangChain/LangGraph, OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, tool calling, prompt design, and agent evaluation and observability (e.g., LangSmith).
