What You'll Do8

• Write realistic electrical engineering scenarios that walk from initial requirements through a formal design review.

• Break work into sections that let a reviewer trace the logic from requirement to final decision.

• Keep scenario difficulty and scope consistent with the evaluation goals set by the project lead.
• Revisit graded work when a scenario gets revised or a model's output needs another pass.

Requirements8

• Degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Recognized depth in one area, for example power systems, embedded hardware, or circuit design.
• Clear written English that lets a reader follow the reasoning behind an engineering decision.
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week, with no upper limit on hours.
• PE license or FE certification preferred.
• Background spanning both design and testing preferred.
• Hands-on depth with simulation tools such as SPICE or MATLAB preferred.

Who Should Apply

Working electrical engineers with 2 or more years of practice and a strong specialty in power systems, embedded hardware, or circuit design. Candidates who can explain design tradeoffs in writing and spot a plausible-looking circuit that would fail in the field. A PE license or FE certification strengthens a submission, as does experience across design and testing.
