Overview
We’re looking for an Economics PhD to bring deep subject-matter expertise to an exciting AI training project. You’ll work remotely as a contractor, helping shape how next-generation AI systems understand and apply economic reasoning. No prior AI experience required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
What You'll Do7
- 1Craft clear, thorough, and educational responses to advanced economics prompts, focusing on depth and clarity rather than scoring rubrics.
- 2Review and validate economics-related data, queries, and proposed solutions to ensure accuracy and methodological soundness.
- 3Develop detailed explanations for a wide range of economics concepts, from basic principles to specialized topics.
- 4Collaborate with project leads and annotation managers to refine requirements and maintain high-quality output for AI model training.
- 5Create benchmark 'golden responses' that set standards for model training and future outputs.
- 6Document the reasoning and context behind each response to improve model interpretability and support further annotation.
- 7Participate in remote workshops and discussions to align on goals and foster team cohesion.
Requirements7
- 1A PhD in Economics or a closely related field, with strong expertise in both core and specialized economics areas.
- 2Exceptional ability to explain complex economic concepts clearly and precisely in writing and verbally.
- 3Proven experience producing or reviewing economics-related content, such as peer-reviewed articles, research reports, or educational materials.
- 4Broad knowledge across multiple economics subfields including microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, behavioral economics, labor, or international economics.
- 5Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to analytical rigor and accuracy.
- 6Background in AI, data annotation, or digital content projects is a plus but not required.
