What You'll Do6
- Draft process scenarios that mirror real plant and design work, starting with mass balances and ending with a safety review
- Compose reference answers that show the reasoning chain behind each process and safety call
- Review model responses for technical soundness and for how well they account for process safety
- Call out designs that look reasonable on paper yet would fail or turn dangerous once scaled
- Keep terminology and assumptions consistent so graders can compare answers across a project
- Work through pharmaceutical or petrochemical cases where regulations shape the right answer
Requirements6
- A degree in chemical engineering or a discipline close to it
- Two or more years spent in process, plant, or product engineering
- Recognized depth in process design, process safety, or scale up
- Strong written English, since every judgment needs a documented rationale
- Availability for at least 10 hours each week
- Comfort working as an independent contractor on async project work
