Overview
AfterQuery produces the expert evaluation data that frontier AI labs rely on to measure how well their models handle real professional work. As a CFP contractor here, you write the financial planning scenarios those evaluations run on, then judge whether a model's answers hold up. The work spans goal discovery through plan delivery, covering retirement drawdown, tax, insurance and estate questions a practicing planner handles every week. You set your own hours, work fully async, and commit at least 10 hours weekly with no ceiling.
What You'll Do6
- Build realistic planning scenarios that start with client goals and carry through to a delivered plan
- Compose reference answers that show the reasoning behind each recommendation, from retirement withdrawals to coverage decisions
- Score model responses on accuracy, completeness and whether the advice meets a fiduciary standard
- Identify recommendations that sound reasonable on the surface yet would leave a client worse off
- Translate planning judgment into written explanations that another professional can follow and learn from
- Review cases across retirement, tax, insurance and estate topics rather than investment selection alone
Requirements8
- Active CFP certification with no standing issues
- Two or more years of client facing financial planning work
- Working depth in retirement, tax, insurance and estate planning
- Strong written English suited to documenting planning rationale
- Availability of at least 10 hours per week
- Fee only or fiduciary practice background preferred
- Extra credentials such as CPA, CFA or ChFC a plus
- Experience with complex cases like equity compensation or business owner clients valued
