RunOps Support – Platform and Infra | $25-$50/hr Remote
Overview
This role involves supporting production infrastructure including servers, containers, storage, and networks, while also contributing to the training of next-generation AI systems by providing real-world operational input. Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Kubernetes, and collaborating with DevOps teams. The position is remote, contract-based, and requires strong Linux and cloud platform expertise.
What You'll Do7
- 1Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production infrastructure systems including servers, containers, storage, and networks
- 2Respond promptly to operational incidents and alerts, leading the resolution of platform-related issues to minimize downtime
- 3Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools such as Jenkins, and oversee container orchestration with Kubernetes and Helm
- 4Collaborate closely with DevOps and SRE stakeholders to drive automation and enhance system reliability
- 5Maintain, support, and improve internal tooling and platform services across all engineering teams
- 6Participate in on-call rotations or shift work as required, ensuring continuous operational support
- 7Utilize observability and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK, Grafana, Prometheus) to proactively identify and address potential issues
Requirements7
- 1Minimum 2+ years of experience in platform/infrastructure support, RunOps, or DevOps roles
- 2Expertise in Linux systems and shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
- 3Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm in production environments
- 4Demonstrated proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- 5Robust knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated services
- 6Familiarity with observability toolsets including ELK, Grafana, and Prometheus
- 7Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on clear documentation and collaborative problem-solving
