Overview
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to build and manage the cloud and on-prem systems that power the next wave of AI model training. In this contract role, you'll apply your deep technical know-how to help shape how AI learns and performs—no prior AI experience required, just your expertise in infrastructure.
What You'll Do6
- 1Architect, deploy, and oversee scalable cloud and on-prem infrastructure to support AI workloads.
- 2Monitor system and network health, proactively spotting and fixing bottlenecks to keep uptime high.
- 3Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- 4Enforce security best practices and compliance with standards such as SOC2 and ISO 27001 across all environments.
- 5Work closely with dev and ops teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and application rollouts.
- 6Document infrastructure designs, processes, and troubleshooting steps for clear cross-team communication.
Requirements5
- 1Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (expert-level preferred).
- 2Solid understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- 3Proficiency with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC solutions.
- 4Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- 5Strong incident response and troubleshooting skills, plus excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
