• Hands-on role in radiological emergency planning or response, not tabletop or classroom exposure.
• Ability to tell a routine professional question from one that seeks harmful detail.
• Background in at least one of these areas: radiological emergency planning at a licensed facility or state/national level, field response and monitoring (FRMAC, RAP, CBRN or national teams), consequence and dispersal modelling, incident command for a radiological event or full-scale exercise, or medical/public-health radiological response.
• Comfort writing technical rationale for readers outside the field.
• Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness work is a strong signal. Include a sample or link.
• Red-teaming experience is welcome but not required.
• No classified, export-controlled, NDA-covered, or prepublication review material. If you hold such obligations, disclose them so the scope can be adjusted.
• Willingness to read and write about radiological misuse scenarios for extended periods. The project briefs experts on this in advance, and you may pause or step away without penalty.
