Overview
This role puts your quantitative finance expertise to work training cutting-edge AI models. You'll evaluate how well AI systems reason through complex market problems, derivatives, and risk scenarios — comparing two model outputs and choosing the stronger one. Your feedback directly improves the model's quantitative reasoning and real-world applicability.
What You'll Do5
- 1Review and compare two AI-generated responses to the same finance prompt, picking the better one
- 2Analyze each model's internal reasoning from provided input files to inform your evaluation
- 3Write clear, concise justifications for your choice, focusing on methodological accuracy, correctness, and strength of quantitative reasoning
- 4Deliver written feedback that the research team uses to refine model behavior
- 5Attend onboarding and specialty calibration sessions to align on evaluation criteria
Requirements4
- 1At least 2 years of hands-on experience in quantitative finance — such as at a hedge fund, quant trading firm, derivatives desk, risk team, or equity research group
- 2An advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a quantitative discipline like Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Economics — or equivalent professional experience
- 3Comfortable using Python with NumPy and pandas for modeling and analysis
- 4Strong written communication skills with a sharp attention to detail
