Overview
Mercor is seeking experienced public interest attorneys to help refine AI's legal reasoning capabilities. In this remote, project-based role, you'll review AI-generated analyses of civil justice scenarios and provide structured expert feedback. What You'll Do5
- 1Evaluate AI-produced legal reasoning for both accuracy and practical applicability in real-world contexts.
- 2Analyze scenarios covering housing disputes, family law, consumer protection, debt collection, and bankruptcy.
- 3Assess the AI's issue spotting, procedural correctness, and litigation strategy.
- 4Identify legal errors or gaps in reasoning and recommend targeted improvements.
- 5Deliver concise written evaluations with clear, actionable feedback.
Requirements5
- 1A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- 2Current active U.S. bar admission in good standing.
- 3At least 5 years of experience in public interest law or civil litigation.
- 4Proven expertise in civil legal advocacy, including case strategy and client counseling.
- 5Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
