Overview
We're partnering with micro1 to find Physics PhD experts for a remote, contract-based role shaping how AI systems understand and reason with complex scientific concepts. You'll contribute your deep domain knowledge—no prior AI experience needed—to train next-generation models through real-world data analysis, content creation, and expert review. This is a unique opportunity to bridge theoretical physics with cutting-edge technology, all while working on a high-impact project for a top-tier client.
What You'll Do6
- 1Assess and interpret real-world physics data, scenarios, and problems to improve the quality of AI training datasets.
- 2Develop, review, and refine technical problem sets and educational content that reflect advanced physics subject matter.
- 3Provide expert feedback on AI-generated outputs, ensuring scientific accuracy and relevance to real-world applications.
- 4Break down intricate theories—from quantum mechanics to thermodynamics—into clear, usable explanations for model training.
- 5Work closely with project leads to adapt deliverables as project goals shift, maintaining a focus on high-quality contributions.
- 6Participate in QA processes for training data, spotting gaps and suggesting improvements to enhance model learning.
Requirements6
- 1A PhD in Physics (or a closely related field) from an accredited institution.
- 2Strong understanding of both theoretical and applied physics, with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
- 3Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—you can explain advanced concepts to non-experts with clarity.
- 4Experience creating or reviewing educational or technical materials in physics (e.g., textbooks, problem sets, research papers).
- 5Analytical mindset and adaptability to tackle evolving tasks without rigid scripts.
- 6Familiarity with AI, data science, or digital training environments is a plus, but not required.
Who Should Apply
