Overview

Work as a Medical Doctor Specialist SME, remotely on an hourly contract to review AI-generated clinical responses and, when needed, author expert medical content. You will assess clinical reasoning, verify step-by-step problem solving, and ensure responses align with the prompt. Your input helps improve AI models by validating accuracy, safety, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines. Specialists across fields including Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Cardiology are welcome to join the expert network.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Review AI-generated clinical responses across specialties for accuracy, safety, and adherence to prompts, and provide structured feedback.
  • 2Create expert medical content and model explanations that detail step-by-step clinical problem solving with rigorous clinical reasoning.
  • 3Identify and annotate errors in clinical methodology such as incorrect differential diagnoses, red flags, or improper test interpretations, offering corrective guidance.
  • 4Rate multiple AI outputs against criteria like correctness, clarity, and clinical relevance; document clear rationale.
  • 5Fact-check medical information for consistency with current guidelines; flag inconsistencies, missing contraindications, or misinterpretations.
  • 6Draft precise explanations and model solutions that demonstrate proper clinical reasoning and align with evidence-based care.
  • 7Collaborate with the SME network to ensure content meets evidence-based standards and aligns with hospital or academic practice.
  • 8Maintain high-quality, timely deliverables in a remote hourly workflow across time zones.

Requirements8

  • 1MD/DO (or equivalent) with completed specialty training (residency/fellowship as applicable) and board eligibility or certification.
  • 25+ years of post-training clinical experience in a specialty setting (hospital, outpatient, academic, or community practice).
  • 3Strong in advanced clinical reasoning: differential diagnosis, triage, red flags, and escalation pathways appropriate to practice.
  • 4Solid understanding of disease processes, guideline-based care, diagnostic pathways, and patient safety within your specialty.
  • 5Exceptional attention to detail when fact-checking clinical content and spotting unsafe assumptions, missing contraindications, or misinterpretations; minimum english proficiency (C1).
  • 6Comfort evaluating answers for internal consistency (timelines, physiology, dosing/contraindications), and suitability for setting (ED vs inpatient vs outpatient); weigh risk/benefit tradeoffs.
  • 7Reliable, self-directed and able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly remote contractor workflow across time zones.
  • 8Prior experience with ai data training, guideline work, utilization review, clinical documentation review, or healthcare editorial QA is strongly preferred.

Who Should Apply

Ideal candidates are board-certified specialists with 5+ years of post-training clinical experience who can work autonomously in a remote hourly contractor arrangement. They have strong english proficiency and a track record of precise, evidence-based feedback on medical content and AI-assisted reviews. Those without board eligibility or who lack recent specialty practice, remote-working discipline, or familiarity with AI QA tasks are less suitable and may score low on fit.
