Master Data Specialist
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Master Data Specialist with 5–8 years of background in data management to help improve data quality and standardize processes across supply chain functions. In this role, you will play a key part in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs by collaborating with planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams. Your work will ensure that master data remains accurate, consistent, and fully aligned with business needs.
What You'll Do8
- 1Review existing master data structures to spot risks, gaps, and opportunities for standardization.
- 2Drive improvements in master data processes and promote adoption of data governance best practices.
- 3Work closely with supply chain partners in Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality to align data solutions.
- 4Validate data solutions to safeguard ERP systems, reporting, and downstream integrations.
- 5Lead or support data cleansing, migration, and mapping activities during system transitions.
- 6Partner with deployment teams to ensure operational readiness and smooth go-live.
- 7Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and assist with root-cause analysis.
- 8Help build KPI dashboards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements7
- 15–8 years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management, focusing on material and/or business partner data.
- 2Proven expertise with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA, including knowledge of Master Data Governance (MDG).
- 3Solid understanding of supply chain processes (planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics) and how master data impacts them.
- 4Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles and the ability to enforce standards.
- 5Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate across teams.
- 6Practical experience in data cleansing, data migration, and process standardization.
- 7Exposure to analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Alteryx is a plus.
